Model 940 speaker console with internal switching power supply provides up to 25 amps current at 13.8 Vdc for powering HF transceivers and other Amateur Radio devices from an input of 115/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Internal high-quality 4 ohm 5 watt speaker is suitable for every possible communication need, from clean CW to well rounded AM receive audio.
Model 940 features an internal switching supply, keeping the overall weight and size of the console to a minimum, rather than eating up valuable shack space on your operating table. Multiple output connectors are provided on the rear panel for connection of both an HF transceiver and up to 3 low current drain accessories without the need to resort to an external power supply “strip”. An internal fan, with exhaust exit under the bottom of the chassis, ensures proper cool operation. This heavy duty supply is so well designed that the temperature controlled, quiet fan only comes on occasionally even when using your rig at 100 watts key down for digital modes!
