Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Paddle
Ten-Tec and Bencher are pleased to announce a limited edition iambic paddle manufactured to celebrate our 40th anniversary. A total of 200 units will be built. This paddle is based on the classic Bencher paddle design but features a spring tension adjustment not found on the classic design, blue finger paddles, the Ten-Tec 40th anniversary logo in aluminum on the top and each unit will be individually strike serial numbered. Ten-Tec’s last custom paddle project in 2003 was a near instant sellout; we are taking orders now for this paddle at $169.00, with initial shipments to begin in mid- to late- July. Of course, any order placed will not be charged to your credit card until the day the item ships and can be canceled prior to shipment.
Model 708/A deluxe base microphone. TEN-TEC model 708/A is an omni-directional dynamic microphones designed for use as a communications station microphone for Amateur Radio and other transmitting applications. The unit consists of a metal die-cast base (plastic bottom cover) with 3 position PTT switch with momentary TX, OFF, and LOCK positions, flexible metal gooseneck, dynamic microphone element and ball-type element housing. The element has tailored frequency response from 30 Hz to 12 kHz designed for excellent transmit audio in SSB, AM, and FM modes.
The model 307 series external communications speaker is designed for use with Ten-Tec radio receivers and transceivers. There are no differences among the three versions; only the paint color of the cabinet varies. 307B is a black cabinet as used for the Orion and Argonaut V HF transceivers and the RX-350 receiver. 307C is a charcoal gray cabinet as used for the Jupiter HF transceiver. 307G is a “Corsair Gray” cabinet to match the paint color of the Corsair II, Paragon I and II, and Omni V and VI series of HF amateur radio transceivers. The cabinet and speaker are suitable for every possible communcation need, from clean CW operation to well-rounded AM receive audio. The speaker response is 100 to 18000 Hz, 4 ohms impedance, 5 watts power. Speaker measures 4 inches diameter. The negative line of the speaker is isolated from chassis ground.
Ten-Tec model 3003 Acro-Bat antenna hanger. The Acro-Bat is constructed from UV resistant, high-stability Trirex polycarbonate plastic to endure years of outdoor use. This virtually unbreakable plastic is the same as used by electric companies for covering outdoor electric power meters. Hit it with a hammer – it won’t break. All hardware included with the Acro-Bat is stainless steel for rust inhibition.
